Overview

The MagicRAM ATAPI CompactFlash Adapter is equipped with the Dual CompactFlash Slot.  This design allows users to store OS and application (or log data) in one CompactFlash card and data on the second card.

The first slot is a fixed drive which accepts Type I CF and the second slot is a removable drive which accepts Type I/II CF. Both CF cards can be configured as boot drive. In the event of unexpected system crash, the removable media drive can be configured as boot drive for immediate system recovery. The removable media is also write-protectable and can be exchanged without shutting down the system. 

The adapter is available in 3.5" hard drive bay form factor and is the ideal solution for almost any embedded computer in mission critical applications.
