MagicRAM's High Capacity Secured IDE Flash Disk is based on a low power design using flash memory as the storage media. Using an embedded IDE controller, the IDE Flash Disk provides full IDE compatibility and are ideal replacements for standard IDE hard disks. The Secured IDE Flash Disk features low power consumption, high capacity storage and contains no moving parts which are the primary cause of failure and electro-mechanical delays in conventional hard drives.   They have a standard 44-pin IDE interface which makes it an easy replacement for standard IDE hard disk drive.

The Secured IDE Flash Disk has a built-in micro controller and file management firmware that communicates with ATA standard interfaces; therefore, it does not require additional or proprietary host software such as Flash File System (FFS) and Memory Technology Driver (MTD) software. 

The Secured IDE Flash Disk features Write Protect function to prohibit any inadvertent Writes through a user selectable jumper.  Every Disk comes with a factory-programmed, 20 byte long, unique identification number for extended data protection. This feature prevents unauthorized duplication by allowing encryption of customer data. 

The Secured IDE Flash Disk supports Self Destruction Command through software command from the host and it offers user selectable Master/slave operation through an external jumper setting.

The Secured IDE Flash Disk operates efficiently in harsh environments and under rugged usage. It is resistant to shock and vibration, thus making it the optimal solution for industrial, transportation, aerospace and military applications.

MagicRAM's High Capacity Secured IDE Flash Disk is available in capacities up to 32GB.
