Overview

The MagicRAM's Hi-Speed 2.5" IDE Flash Disk is based on a low power design using flash memory as the storage media. Using an embedded IDE controller, the IDE Flash Disk provides full IDE compatibility and are ideal replacements for standard IDE hard disks. The Hi-Speed IDE Flash Disk is implemented using NAND type flash memory, which is a high density, non-volatile read/write device.

The Hi-Speed IDE Flash Disk features low power consumption, high capacity storage and contains no moving parts which are the primary cause of failure and electro-mechanical delays in conventional hard drives.

The Hi-Speed IDE Flash can operate in 3.3V or 5.0V systems. They have a standard 44-pin IDE interface which makes it an easy replacement for standard IDE hard disk drive. 

The Hi-Speed IDE Flash features non-recoverable error rate of less than 1 error per 10¹⁵ bit-reads and Mean time between failure (MTBF) of up to an astonishing 2,000,000 hours. 

The Hi-Speed IDE Flash Disk operates efficiently in harsh environments and under rugged usage. It is resistant to shock and vibration, thus making it the optimal solution for industrial, transportation, aerospace and military applications.

MagicRAM's Hi-Speed IDE Flash Disk is available in capacities up to 32GB in standard & extended temperature.
