Overview

The MagicRAM Secure IDE MicroFlash Disk is a storage device based on flash memory technology, which emulates an ordinary hard disk. It provides an all in one module solution for solid-state flash storage.  Fully IDE compatible, the Secure MicroFlash Disk is the perfect choice to replace rotating hard drives. It is suitable for use in portable and embedded systems, which have limited space and power consumption.

MagicRAM Secure IDE MicroFlash is the advanced storage device with unique security algorithm. It offers the multi-layers password system to prohibit any illegal access. Secure MicroFlash can be partitioned to 3 partitions by customer's demand: User Zone, ROM Zone & Protect Zone:

USER Zone: Read & write; no password required.
ROM Zone: Read only without password. 
Protect Zone: Password required to access.

The customer can decide the capacities of each partitions. Each zone can exist independently or simultaneously, as determined by customer. Zone Combination Examples:

Secure MicroFlash Disk is implemented using NAND type flash memory, which is a high density, non-volatile read/write device. Flash data retention is guaranteed for at least 10 years, with no battery or other power source required.

Secure MicroFlash features low power consumption, high capacity storage and contains no moving parts which are the primary cause of failure and electro-mechanical delays in conventional hard drives.

It operates efficiently in harsh environments and under rugged usage. The Secure MicroFlash Disk is resistant to shock and vibration, thus making it the optimal solution for industrial, transportation, aerospace and military applications. It is completely bootable and no installable device drivers are required.

Available in capacities from 16MB to 1.5GB in vertical format.
