Overview

MagicRAM's low-cost IDE ATA Flash adapters make it easy to replace hard disks with reliable solid-state ATA Flash cards in PC Card or CompactFlash format.  With these adapters, the ATA cards operate as C: or D: drives without any special software.

The ATA Flash Adapter connect to an existing IDE controller allowing an ATA PC Card or CompactFlash card* to operate as an IDE system disk. These adapters automatically set the card's IDE mode allowing the system BIOS to access the card directly as a standard IDE drive without additional software. An onboard jumper selects either the master or slave configuration allowing two ATA cards at each IDE address.

The IDE ATA Flash Adapter operates with standard operating systems thereby enabling the use of ATA PC Cards in almost every computer application.

The CDSDDA series supports bootable function for ATA Flash PC Card and CompactFlash Card*.
