MagicRAM’s ATA Flash card is a flash technology based, ATA interface PC Card. It supports full IDE hard disk emulation with bootable capability while using less than 10% of the power required by conventional rotating media.  MagicRAM’s ATA Flash cards are extremely rugged and reliable and features very low power consumption, yet offers high performance and zero-power data retention. The ATA cards are built with Hitachi Flash Memory devices and are suitable for the ISA (Industry Standard Architecture) bus interface standard.

Their low power consumption and ruggedness make them the ideal storage solution for products that range from digital cameras to data collection devices. The ATA Flash cards can easily transfer data and digital images into mobile computing devices, digital cameras or desktop computers equipped with MagicRAM's PC Card Readers. These cards can be used in both 5V and 3.3V applications.

MagicRAM’s ATA Flash solutions are well suited for embedded and cross platform data transfer applications. The use of NAND-based Flash devices provides true random access and wear leveling algorithms evenly distribute write/erase operations, maximizing card life. 

MagicRAM offers a complete line of ATA Flash cards ranging from 16MB to 4GB. They are available in standard (0°C - +70°C) or extended temperature (-40°C - +85°C).
