MagicRAM's SCSI PC Card (PCMCIA) reader/writer is a dual slot internal drive designed for use in Macintosh or PC desktop computers. The MagicRAM SCSI PC Card Drive delivers high transfer rates, industry standard SCSI compatibility, PC Card hot swapping, high performance, high reliability, and long term availability for applications in telecommunications, digital imaging, and military COTS applications.

The MagicRAM SCSI PC Card Drive enhances performance of digital media across multiple platforms, and expands your capabilities in all areas of digital media where speed, flexibility and ease of use are essential. Using MagicRAM's optional PC Card adapter, the SCSI PC Card Drive also accommodates CompactFlash and SmartMedia Cards. It has two slots and operates as a standard SCSI device with two consecutive addresses. To meet high capacity hard disk replacement requirements, the SCSI PC Card Drive can combine the capacity of two MagicRAM ATA PC Cards or PC Card Hard Drive into one logical unit. For example, this combined capacity mode can merge two 5GByte cards into one removable, hot swappable, logical unit with a capacity of 10GBytes.

The MagicRAM's SCSI PC Card Drive is equipped with flash ROM so that firmware upgrades can be provided as new applications and PC cards are developed, assuring compatibility for years to come. It is the reader of choice for the government, banks, industrial and professional DTP users. External version is also available for most Macintosh and PC computers.
